Celebcity with Jo Brooks: Peter Andre interviewed by Piers Morgan

Piers quizzes our Pete
I really enjoyed the interview with Piers Morgan and Peter Andre that aired last week on ITV1. Piers was his usual inquisitive self and asked Pete all the questions we’ve all been dying to ask! When quizzed about his break up with his ex, Sussex based Katie Price, Peter refused to answer, giving his children as a very valid reason for keeping the intimate details of his break up to their mother firmly to himself. We all loved the romance with Katie and Peter but things soon turned sour and we never really found out why, judging by Pete’s reluctance to share it looks like this is one secret the usually very public couple will never reveal. Piers, as usual, made Peter cry when asking him about his breakdown (every guest he ever has on breaks down in tears)  – it was quite emotional to watch and I am pleased to see that after a turbulent few years Peter is back to his normal fun ambitious self; in the interview Peter exclaimed his big dream is to play Wembley Atadium in two years time! I hope he does – he is such a genuine guy that deserves all the success. Good luck Pete!

The TRIP
Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon were at the Duke Of York’s Picturehouse on 8 December for a special screening of The Trip for charity Amaze. Latest 7’s Victoria Nangle was in attendance as was celebrity TV vet Marc Abraham and Juice FM’s Andrea Fox. On the night there was a Q&A hosted by BBC New Comedy Award winner Angela Barnes, during which Brydon and Coogan attempted to strip off – for a little extra attention! We say attempt – Brydon was topless at one point!

Time to unwind
Last week saw the launch of the new Taizen Japanese bath at Shadi Danin’s renovated Medi Spa in Hove. The cream of Brighton and Hove’s social scene attended the event and they all absolutely loved their exclusive experience of the Taizen bath, even finding time to sip wine whilst immersing their toes in the small stone balls during the evening
