Rockinghorse Celebrate the Alex’s 5th Birthday

Rockinghorse Children’s Charity threw the Royal Alexander Children’s Hospital a party to celebrate its 5th birthday. Over the past five years Rockinghorse has raised over £250,000 for the Alex through various projects and community schemes.

The money raised has gone towards providing essential, cutting edge equipment for the children’s hospital. But the charity’s Chair, Sarah Hopwood made it clear that Rockinghorse will continue to support the Alex’s quest to provide the best possible to care to children in need.

Ms Hopwood said: “What the hospital needs is funding to develop their status of excellence and expertise.” The work of the two organisations has been intertwined and united towards the same goal since the hospital opened and its clear this close relationship will continue for years to come.
