Kontour has been experimenting with electronic devices and voice manipulation for over twenty years. His first release was 'Protect & Survive EP' released on Ann Shenton's (Add N to X) White Label Music.
Shortly afterwards was approached by Some Bizzare Records boss Stevo Pearce (Soft Cell, The The, Neubauten) to record an album. In 2008 Some Bizzare released the album 'Scanners'. The new album, 'Scanners', brought forth an array of pure electronics and experimentation. It explored some truths in society and the fears those truths create. The album’s production involved no use of MIDI but reverted to analogue sequencers and tape machines,
creating a sound not at home in the clean digital age.
