» Film: Thor 3D (TBC)

Director: Kenneth Branagh

Much anticipated – both with positive and negative press – is this latest offering from Marvel in their superhero series. Whether it’s simply an introduction to the forthcoming (although distant forthcoming) New Avengers ensemble or a steady standalone tale is in the viewing, but with the popularity of Percy Jackson last year showing an interest in gods and monsters mythology and the quest continuing to find the heir apparent to the mighty Harry Potter franchise in supernatural adventure, Thor may as well throw his hat into the arena with everyone else’s.

The post-modern horror franchise is back! Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is now a successful self-help author and rounds off her book tour with a final stop at her hometown of Woodsboro, Maryland. Latest TV

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
