Campaigners are planning to meet outside of Brighton Town hall tonight to protest Donald Trump’s ban on people from Muslim countries entering the US.

The group will be gathering between 6pm to 8pm.

The executive order temporarily bans citizens from mainly Muslim countries like Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the country.

A petition demanding an invitation to meet the Queen be rescinded has now gained over a million signatures, with more people from Brighton and Hove have signed the petition then anywhere else in the country.
