WATCH: Should Robert Burns be forgot and never brought to mind?
Last night marked the annual celebration of of the life and poetry of Robert Burns.. and what better way to celebrate one of Scotland’s most famous sons by reciting some of his best works over a plate of steaming haggis.
The night falls on his birthday January 25th and started a few years after his death in 1796.
Over two hundred years later, the tradition is still going strong with many a Scot from around the world toasting his life and works with a glass of brandy or two.
