Cul de Sac
As part of Worthing Theatre’s preview of their forthcoming ‘Summer Of Circus’, Cul De Sac is a contemporary piece of circus (in their words) for grown ups. It is the story of a relationship cycle with all the pleasures, strains and emotions one endures during that relationship. It is essentially an abstract movement piece (part circus, part physical theatre, part contemporary dance) and in truth sections of the performance went over my head, a failure on my part rather than the performers. Nevertheless I still felt the humour and tenderness between the performers and their acrobatic skills are amazing.
