Tonka needs your help this Christmas

We had a special guest at the Latest News studio.

I was joined by Tonka, a ten and a half stone rescue Dogue De Bordeaux.

He and his dad Rick lit up the room but we were all sad to learn about the ligament damage to his knee.

Due to his size the procedure is complicated, vets and surgeries around Brighton are unable to conduct the operation.

So, at a special vet in Dorking, an appointment has been made, but the costs are huge.

The surgery is vital as Tonka will damage other parts of his body by attempting to relieve pressure from his right knee.
