Boy, 13, bailed over death of Brighton teenager
A 13-year-old boy has been bailed by police officers investigating the death of a Brighton teenager.
The boy was arrested along with two 14-year-olds on suspicion of the murder of Woodingdean plasterer Connor Saunders.
Sussex Police said that the 14-year-old boys were still in custody while the 13-year-old has been bailed until Tuesday 8 May.
Connor, 19, a talented young footballer of Downsway in Woodingdean, died yesterday (Sunday 15 April) after being attacked in West Street, Rottingdean, on Saturday night (14 April).
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious head injuries after a fight between two groups of youths but surgeons were unable to save him.
The fight is believed to have happened between 10.30pm and 11pm.
Detectives from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team would like to hear from anyone who may have information but who has not yet spoken to police.
