Rockinghorse Family Fun Day
Rockinghorse held its Family Fun Day on Saturday 28 July on Hove Lawns. The event was held to raise vital funds for the charity which works to make lives better for sick children across Sussex.
Activities on the day included obstacle courses, school sports day games, a treasure hunt, wife/partner carrying races, bouncy castle, tombola, face painting, arts and crafts stalls, and more.

Brighton’s Big Screen
On Friday 27 July, the Olympics opened and guests were able to watch the ceremony from Brighton’s Big Screen which is located next to the West Pier and opposite the Metropole Hotel. The area in front of the screen holds 2,600 people and the beach area was packed to get a view. The Big Screen will continue to broadcast live coverage of the games plus a selection of blockbuster films until Sunday 12 August, from 10am to 10pm daily.
