Thieves steal £20k buggy from Brighton golf club

Burglars stole a buggy worth £20,000 from a Brighton golf club.

Sussex Police said that the green and yellow two-seater John Deere utility vehicle was taken during a break in at the greenkeeper’s garage.

The burglary took place between 6pm on Tuesday (18 September) and 4am yesterday (Wednesday 19 September) at Waterhall Golf Club in Saddlescombe Road, Brighton.

PC Jodie White said: “This is an isolated area but the vehicle is distinctive and would be difficult to sell on.”

Anyone who saw anything suspicious or has any information about the whereabouts of the truck is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101.
