Jon Richardson – The Greatest Hits So Far Tour

It’s lovely to see a comedian go off script, getting lost away from his set and demonstrating his natural funny bones as he tries to find his way back. So it was in the first half of Jon Richardson’s show, delivering a DVD commentary of comic asides on the progress of his own show, Jon’s world-weary attitude being knocked onto the back foot and reacting with delightful comic timing. Shadow boxing himself – and a large flying object – it must be difficult to be Jon Richardson with the amount of minutiae that irritates and makes him downright angry. However, we are the fortunate ones as he turns that vitriol into beautifully observed comedy.
