Cinecity: A Liar’s Autobiography: The Untrue Story Of Monty Python’s Graham Chapman
Combining flights of fancy with the bare bones of Graham Chapman’s autobiography, this fantastical tale is narrated by the former Python using recordings made a couple of years before his untimely demise. A montage of surreal adventures, utilising a variety of animations, this was a journey through The Yellow Submarine’s Pepperland as seen through the filter of Monty Python with large helpings of gin and sex served on a silver platter by a half-naked waiter. Refreshingly touching, engaging, funny and revealing – in a teasing way – and with some of the most effective 3D effects I have ever seen. A real original, both in subject and medium. Thank you Cinecity for this one-off sneak preview.
