Celebcity: Are Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis set for a Royal Pavilion wedding?

George Clooney, Matt Damon & Miranda Hart in Sussex; are Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis set for a Royal Pavilion wedding?

Royal wedding
A source close to Hollywood A list ‘k’ouple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher has suggested they might be looking for wedding venues, and have their sights set on none other than sunny Brighton! Despite not going public with their romance as of yet, which blossomed following Kutcher’s high-profile split from wife Demi Moore, the couple have done little to dispel rumours that they are head-over-heels in love. And according to American website UPI, a little bird is now suggesting the two might be looking to get married – as soon as Kutcher’s divorce is finalised, that is!

“They are desperate to get married as soon as possible because they want to start a family and are slightly old-fashioned about these things,” explained the source. First on the cards was Stonehenge, but apparently their heads have recently been turned by Brighton’s beautiful Royal Pavilion, suggested the friend of the duo, saying they have simply “fallen in love with the UK”. We think the Pavilion would be just the place for a celeb wedding – expect us hiding in the bushes if we even hear a whiff of it!

Freemasons set for Pride
This year’s Brighton Pride event is set to be the hottest ticket of the summer and we can announce that legendary Brighton duo the Freemasons have joined the line-up and will be rocking Preston Park in 2013. The Grammy nominated act, who have played the Sydney Mardi Gras and New York Pride, will be bringing it home to Brighton to play a storming set in the Wild Fruit Dance Tent. Paloma Faith will also be playing a DJ set at the 3 August event; to get your tickets to see the hottest DJ sets of the summer visit www.brighton-pride.org

George Clooney films in Sussex
Movie star George Clooney and his Hollywood co-stars Matt Damon, John Goodman, Bill Murray and Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville caused a stir in Sussex recently when they arrived for filming in picturesque Rye. Crowds turned up to catch a glimpse of them filming their new movie on the beaches of Sussex.

George was ever the gentleman and delighted his fans by chatting and signing autographs. The new movie – The Monuments Men – is co-written, produced and directed by George himself. It follows the story of the Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives programme, a group tasked with saving pieces of art before their destruction by Hitler during World War II. The film is due for release in December this year and we can’t wait to check it out to spot parts of our lovely county!

Miranda’s dish
My absolute favourite TV star Miranda was spotted in Brighton last week, dining at celeb fave Donatello. The comedienne, who has recently laughed off rumours that she is set to become the latest Dr Who, tucked in to a tagliatelle al funghi at the Italian eatery in The Lanes. The restaurant is now considering renaming the dish ‘the Miranda’ in homage to everyone’s favourite clutz – we approve!

Best of British
Cathryn Dresser, locally based winner of The Great British Bake Off, has opened the newly renovated Purple Heart cake-making shop in Gardner Street, Brighton. Dresser, who beat off competition stiffer than a good meringue, will also be on hand to judge the shop’s monthly cake competition – so make sure you get down there and get involved. Ready, steady, bake!
