Pensioner seriously hurt in Brighton seafront crash

A pensioner suffered serious chest injuries in a crash on Brighton seafront.

The 68-year-old woman, from Seaford, was driving a black Toyota Corolla. It crashed into a green Volvo V70 in Marine Parade, Brighton.

The Toyota then crashed into a parked black Mercedes Vito van.

The accident happened shortly after 9am on Saturday 3 August at the junction with Duke’s Mound.

The Volvo driver, a 71-year-old man from Eastbourne, was unhurt.
