Competitions: Win Rokia Traore’s Beautiful Africa on CD

One of the most inventive female singer songwriters in Africa today, Rokia Traoré visits Brighton Dome this November as one of only six UK live dates in support of her latest album Beautiful Africa. (Win tickets to the show on 6 November, but hurry, you only have until 31 October to enter!)

Right here we are giving three readers the chance to win a copy of the album: Beautiful Africa. Released earlier this year, Beautiful Africa. was produced by English musician John Parish (PJ Harvey, Eels, Sparklehorse) and recorded at Toybox Studios in Bristol, UK. Its lyrics are sung in the Malian-born Traoré’s native languages of French and Bambara, as well as some English.
