Man arrested over death of woman found in Brighton seafront toilets
A homeless man has been arrested for manslaughter after the body of a homeless woman was found in toilets on Brighton seafront.
The 51-year-old man was in custody early this evening (Thursday 28 November), Sussex Police said.
His arrest follows the death of Faye Isaac, 39, who was found dead by a cleaner in the Colonnade toilets in Madeira Drive, Brighton, just before 10.50am last Friday (22 November).
Detective Inspector Wendy Burton, from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have used the toilets between 9am and 11am on Friday or who may have any information about Faye and in particular where she was and what she was doing in the hours before her death.”
Anyone who saw her in the area on Friday or who has other information is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101.
