Second Sight present the complete unedited version of A Year In Provence for the first ever time on DVD. Based on Peter Mayle’s much-loved bestselling book, this BBC adaptation originally aired to an audience of 14.5 million. The popular John Thaw (Inspector Morse, The Sweeney) starred alongside Lindsay Duncan (Oliver Twist, Mansfield Park) as the Mayles, who head off to the South of France.

Hoping to leave the pressures of the rat race behind them, they look forward to an idyllic rural life in the sun. Things turn out differently however, as hilarious comic situations unfold and a variety of colourful characters interrupt their plan for a quiet life.
