The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival ‘Spring Harvest’ featured 12 days of events between 16 – 27 April, including two huge free entry weekends of food and drink on Hove Lawns and New Road. Locals and visitors – from as far away as Washington State in the USA – enjoyed the highest quality food and drink from Sussex and the world including wines from Western Australia and whiskeys from Japan. Running alongside the weekend events, the festival hosted a programme of fun and accessible evening events including the Discover the Origin supper featuring Protected Designation of Origin produce from Italy, France and Portugal, the ever-popular Make Your Case wine tasting at Hotel du Vin, Gingerbeer at the Ginger Pig and the Big Food Pub Quiz on Brighton Pier.
