Greens bring eco-friendly battle bus to Brighton to kickstart European election campaign

An eco-friendly battle bus rolled into Brighton as the Green Party looked to kickstart its European election campaign.

Current MEP Keith Taylor and fellow candidate Alex Phillips, who is also a Hove councillor, were among those to talk to Latest TV about the party’s chances.

But with poll-leaders UKIP – as well as the traditional larger parties of Labour, Conservatives and Liberal Democrats – all seeking as many votes as possible, will the Greens win enough support to gain a second seat in the South East region?

The vote takes place on May 22.
