Thieves steal clothes worth £40k from Brighton shop
Clothes worth more than £40,000 were stolen from a shop in Brighton in a smash and grab.
Thieves raided the shop, called Profile, in Duke’s Lane, Brighton, in the early hours of Monday (12 May).
At about 3.45am a black Audi was used to pull the railings from the window of the men’s shop and the window was smashed.
Two men ran inside and grabbed handfuls of clothes. The men then jumped back in the Audi which was driven down Ship Street on to the A259 seafront road.
Detective Sergeant Jacqui Shaw said: “We are keen to talk to anyone who might have seen the Audi in the area before the burglary or immediately afterwards.”
