Hove boy, 5, hit by car suffers broken leg
A five-year-old boy from Hove suffered a broken leg when he was knocked over by a car.
The accident happened yesterday lunchtime (Tuesday 27 May) in Hove Street, Hove.
There was no suggestion that the driver, who stopped at the scene, was to blame although the accident is still being investigated.
Sussex Police said: “Police are seeking witnesses to an incident on the A2023 Hove Street, Hove, at 1.26pm on Tuesday (27 May) in which a five-year-old boy suffered a broken leg.
“The boy was on foot when he was in collision with a car outside the Connaught public house.
“He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.”
