Four people suffer serious injuries in Brighton crash

An 18-year-old woman and three men suffered serious injuries in a car crash early this morning (Thursday 27 November).

The woman and two of the men, all from Brighton, were said to have life-threatening injuries after the crash in Warren Road.

Sussex Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi and car collided at Race Hill, Brighton.

“Shortly after midnight today a blue BMW 318L and a blue and white Skoda taxi crashed in Warren Road.

“The 29-year-old man from Peacehaven driving the BMW suffered serious injuries.

“His three passengers – two men aged 19 and 22 and a woman aged 18 – all suffered life-threatening injuries.

“All four were taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment.

“The 26-year-old man from Brighton driving the Skoda suffered minor injuries.

“Officers need to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who saw either of the vehicles being driven in the minutes beforehand.”
