Marc Almond

What an aural delight to hear Marc Almond’s unique vocals again. Opening with ‘Minotaur’ from the current album ‘Velvet Trail’, the mythical journey begins. A brilliant rendition of ‘The Stars We Are’, shines out like a forgotten gem of the 80s.

He looks natural and relaxed on stage and the love for Marc in the room is palpable.

The hypnotic title track, ‘Velvet Trail’ is so nostalgically moving, it brings tears to the eyes. Ripped from our trance he indulges us with synth pop classics ‘bedsitter and’ Say Hello, Wave Goodbye’, and we are all teenagers again. An epic performance.
