Soul II Soul

Jazzy B was back on fine form spreading the ‘Universal Love’ message in his unmistakable Cockney tones alongside regular glamourous songstress Karen Wheeler. The stage line-up included new backing singers, whose slick choreographed moves and flawless vocals were a joy to behold. Old classics including ‘Fairplay’, ‘Back To Life’ and ‘Keep On Moving’ were well received by a raucous crowd, who all clearly had a lot of love for Soul II Soul. Unfortunately there were sound issues from the outset, meaning that it was difficult to hear the ensemble. Wheeler’s immense vocals were sadly drowned out by the music at times. However, great tunes and good times had by all!
