Man taken to hospital after bus crash in Brighton

A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in the centre of Brighton.

Emergency services were called to the bottom of St James’s Street at about 1pm today.

A man was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment.

Witnesses reported the driver of the bus was being treated for shock after a large section of his windscreen was cracked.
