Albion boss Chris Hughton praises backup keeper Nikki Maenpaa

One Albion player who is under a bit of pressure at the moment is David Stockdale.

While the keeper has been in good form all season, he did gift Birmingham City the opening goal in Tuesday night’s 2-1 win.

With Finnish international goalkeeper Nikki Maenpaa sitting just behind him, Stockdale knows he can afford no more mistakes.

And manager Chris Hughton was pleased to have one of the best backup keepers in the league at his disposal.
