Louise Reay: Que Sera

It’s quite hard to explain Que Sera, as the bravely bonkers Reay performs almost the entire multimedia clowning show in Chinese Mandarin! Mostly it’s a quest for true love told through a series of vignettes set in a Chinese bric-a-brac shop. Reay relies heavily on audience participation, so there are amusing twists on the dating website Tinder, potential parenthood and the Chinese lottery, all incorporating members of the public. By her own admission this is still a work in progress, and some scenes worked better than others, but it’s certainly one to watch and well worth seeing, particularly if you become part of the show’s evolutionary process!
