Hundreds of commuters to protest again at Brighton Station over “Southern Fail”

Hundreds of commuters are set to gather at Brighton Station this evening (Monday) for another protest against Southern Rail.

It comes just hours before conductors for the firm take part in the latest part of industrial action over planned changes to their roles.

Commuters are set to gather in the forecourt of Brighton Station and claim they will unite under the banner of #Southernfail after weeks of a disrupted service

Those attending will also have the chance to write personal messages to Southern on large banners, which will then be personally delivered to the Southern’s parent firm, Govia Thameslink’s headquarters in Shoreditch by campaigners.

The company maintains the disruption is due to staff sickness.
