Mudhoney

Widely acknowledged as being at the forefront of Seattle’s late 80’s grunge scene, the four piece rockers got off to a shaky start with a bass heavy, muffled sound mix and a lacklustre song selection that wasn’t helped by zero interaction with the crowd. However, a few punkier songs led up to their classic ‘Touch Me I’m Sick’ and once Mark Arm removed his guitar he was strutting and hip swivelling like Iggy and they turned into a different band with a furious energy that lasted through to the twenty minute encore that included a blistering ‘Hate The Police’.
