HMS Shoreham to sail into the Shoreham Harbour

The locals of Shoreham are set to meet their match this evening – when a warship bearing the town’s name comes to town.

HMS Shoreham is expected to dock in the town’s harbour this afternoon.

The mine cruiser has a long association with the area and was awarded the Freedom of Shoreham-by-Sea in February 2011 by Adur District Council.

It will stay in the harbour all weekend – leaving on Monday.
