HIP Trip of Brighton: A Psychedelic Wander

This walking tour is based on the diaries and life of free-spirited squatter Anne Clarke and focuses on Brighton’s underground scene of the 1970s and 80s. This immersive and collaborative experience encouraged members of the group to dress up and participate with creator Jolie Booth as we wandered around key counter-culture sites, including the original Infinity Foods, Avalon and Unicorn bookshops and the former Windsor Tavern. We were fortunate to have members of the group that knew Anne and added personal testimonies to enhance the tour. An irreverent and informative couple of hours with an engaging and exuberant host.
