Cuddle the stress away with touch therapy
There’s a new stress-beating craze that’s sweeping the nation and don’t worry, it’s not exercise, in fact it doesn’t require any effort at all.
Cuddle Therapy, or touch therapy, is an alternative therapy which aims to combat the onset of stress through platonic interaction and it looks like it might have something to it.
The argument is that physical acts of touch increases oxytocin levels, which can help to reduce blood pressure. The chemical is also said to help reduce stress and anxiety.
