Stuart Slaney talks about Shoreham’s belated promotion
After weeks of uncertainty Shoreham football Club finally found out their future and after the FA dismissed Haywards Heaths appeal the Musselmen will be promoted to the Ryman south for the first time in their history. The Heath who won the SCFL Premier, four points clear of Shoreham, had appealled the decision, which saw them charged for fielding a banned player, and a verdict that came out yesterday from the FA & SCFL announced that Heath’s appeal had been dismissed. and we spoke to Shoreham Chairman Stuart Slaney who said he was ‘relieved’ that the saga was finally over.
