1 EX-Mansun frontman Paul .Draper marks the recent release of his solo debut Spooky Action with a brand new tour kicking off in Brighton. Paul will play two sets: first, tracks from his acclaimed solo debut and the two EPs that preceded it. After a short break, he will play Mansun’s classic debut Attack Of The Grey Lantern in its entirety for the twenty-first anniversary of its release.

3 Headlined by Yamaya .(Afrobeat Funk Fusion) and Alaa (Oud and vocals from Syria), Refugee Valentine is organized by Brighton Migrant Solidarity (BMS) and Thousand For Thousand. West African chefs will cook a celebratory feast, taking love beyond monogamous pairings to begin rebuilding a community that celebrates difference.

A veteran of the tellybox and radio circuit, as well as a comedic voice of experience with many acclaimed solo shows under her belt, Porter’s is a voice worth listening to while you avoid arguing this Valentine’s night.

6 Award-winning comedian Samantha Baines .(The Crown, Sunny D, BBC Radio 4) brings her critically acclaimed and complete sell-out Edinburgh 2017 show to Brighton. This year she’s exploring the lost women of science – some of whom you might be already familiar with if you caught her on the radio, or on BBC Radio’s Comedy Of The Week podcast. Expect facts, puns and an ear trumpet attached to a whiskey bottle. It’s science meets funny.
