Latest TV Presenter, Yael Breuer, speaks to Gemma Hook about the search for Sussex’s Lockdown Legend. It’s fair to say 2020 has been one of the most trying years with the chaos and heartache that COVID-19 has caused for so many. However, the pandemic has also made many communities stronger than ever before and hundreds of people have gone the extra mile to truly ‘love thy neighbour’. Now, Sussex residents are being encouraged to nominate anyone they know who has stepped up during this crisis and deserves recognition for their efforts; anyone who they deem a ‘Lockdown Legend’. Sponsored by No-One, a new top-secret Sussex service set to launch in the new year, to celebrate the many acts of kindness and community spirit throughout the crisis, people of any age can be nominated to be a Lockdown Legend, as long as they live and have helped residents within the county.
