Extinction Rebellion Activist Acquitted

Lindsay Parkin, an Extinction Rebellion activist, was charged with aggravated trespass after climbing an oil rig in October last year in Surrey. He has now been acquitted after the judge questioned the reliability of the prosecution witness finding the evidence exaggerated considering the real impact of Parkin’s action on the company’s business.
