Latest News – 1st March

Welcome to Latest News with Mike Mendoza.

First up on the programme, Mike heads to Shoreham Beach Green to have a look at a toilet block the Council have put up for sale to be renovated into a restaurant/ cafe or something similar. He speaks to Joss Loader, Vice Chair for Adur Council and CLLR for Marine Ward, about the project.

Next, Mike heads to Tesco to explore their first sushi bar by YO! Sushi. All the food is made fresh every day and intense training is needed before the workers start. They are up to 240 kiosks opened since the pandemic, with another 140 to open later this year.

Mike speaks to CLLR Neil Parkin, Leader of Adur District Council, to discuss new proposed cycle lanes in the town.

Finally, in the second half, sports is back on Latest with Mike Mendoza and Ian Hart. They discuss the excitement at The Albion recently, along with other local teams.
