OPERA VIVA A TRIUMPH!

Fringe Review: Opera Viva (Monday Performance) A truly electrifying evening of music and emotion. Opera Viva brought together soaring operatic voices, intimacy, and raw theatrical energy — proving once again how powerful live performance can be in a small, focused space. The audience was completely drawn in from the first note to the final applause. What stood out most was the balance between tradition and freshness: classic operatic power delivered with a modern, accessible spirit that made the whole experience feel alive, immediate, and deeply human. There was a real sense of connection in the room — performers and audience sharing the same emotional journey, with moments of stillness followed by waves of intensity that felt almost cinematic. A highlight of this year’s Fringe programme and a proud moment for the Brighton Italian Festival team.  Opera, as its name promises, truly came alive.  ***** 5 STARS
