On The Beach Festival Brings 40 Artists to Brighton’s Seafront

Brighton’s On The Beach festival returns this July for its sixth year, bringing 40 artists across eight shows and two weekends to the city’s iconic seafront. Headliners for 2026 include Fatboy Slim (16 – 19 July), Madness (23 & 24 July), The Maccabees (25 July) and Moby (26 July), with a line-up spanning electronic, indie and alternative music.

Staged directly on Brighton Beach, the festival has become one of the city’s biggest live music events, attracting thousands of visitors every year. Since launching in 2021, On The Beach has hosted performances from artists including Chase & Status, Above & Beyond, Eric Prydz, Underworld, Carl Cox, Royal Blood, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and The Kooks.

Beyond the music, the festival continues to make a significant contribution to Brighton’s economy. According to a recent Economic and Social Impact Report, last year’s event generated more than £8.3 million for the local economy, attracted over 59,000 attendees, supported 300+ jobs, and delivered more than £3 million in visitor spending across local businesses and hospitality.

Latest TV presenter Viktorija Faith will be attending the festival to speak with music fans, visitors and organisers, exploring what makes On The Beach such an important part of Brighton’s cultural calendar. Through interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage, she will capture the atmosphere of the event and discover what keeps audiences returning year after year.

The 2026 festival takes place across two weekends in July, with limited tickets remaining for selected shows – check out the full programme here!
