Two charged over Saltdean ecstasy haul
Two Brighton men have been charged after more than 6,000 ecstasy pills were seized in a drugs raid at a house in Saltdean.
Sussex Police said that officers also found more than 12oz (360g) of suspected ecstasy powder, a quantity of cocaine, a pill-making machine and several thousand pounds cash.
The two men, Paul Bulford and Gavin MacCall, both 44, were brought before Brighton magistrates today (Monday 10 September) and remanded in custody.
Bulford, who is self-employed, and MacCall, a disc jockey, of Abinger Road, Woodingdean, were charged with making class A drugs and intending to supply them. They were also charged with having criminal property.
They were arrested during the raid in Bannings Vale, Saltdean, along with a 38-year-old local woman on Friday (7 September).
She was bailed until Tuesday 23 October pending further inquiries.
