Richard Digance

Going to a Richard Digance show is like visiting old friends. There are no airs and graces, no faux showbizzy waffle. Relax, put your feet up and enjoy yourself. We’ll have a chat, a sing song with a few drinks and then meet up again same time same place next year. The performance itself was a delight, an underexposed and undervalued artist showing off his unheralded finger picking guitar playing with clever, humorous yet at times poignant, lyrics. The subject matter (invariably themes we are all familiar with – old age, school days to name a few) delivered with integrity and honesty. Rare values these days.
