Sara Pascoe: The Musical

This show was more a diary monologue than a life story set to music. Referring to childhood friends and tormentors by their full names was a nice touch, as were her claims to inventing everyday items; but many of the topics were obvious and the general observations were just that. The man with the booming laugh would disagree but with many stumbles and missed cues this felt like a work-in-progress. She’s an engaging performer, with her drunk walk home as computer game working well, and the final song would have been a nice ending had it not required an explanation after the first fail.
