Marcus Brigstocke – The Brig Society

A furious and fiery assault on government figures, the Big Society, bankers and the privileged formed the core of Marcus Brogstocke’s show. The audience were coerced into forming an alternative government and come up with policies to show the BS in action. The finale, cleverly demonstrating how the financial crisis came about by borrowing money from those of us foolish enough to brandish cash from our purses and wallets, was a masterstroke. So, education and amusement all delivered in a beautifully witty and elegant package. The funny voices and comic characters were the icing on the comedy cake. My daughter, who accompanied me, declared it would be a disgrace to give less than five stars. Here you go then.
