Light Bites: High Weald Dairy

A double celebration for High Weald Dairy

High Weald Dairy are very pleased to announce that they are not only one of the three finalists in the Food Producer of the Year category of the Sussex Food Awards, (awards ceremony to be held at the Amex Stadium, Brighton, in January 2013) but also their cheeses have been recognised with four awards at the World Cheese Awards, held at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham last week.

With over 2,700 British and international cheeses entered, their Ashdown Foresters Oak Smoked won a gold award, the ever popular Saint Giles won two silver awards and Little Sussex soft sheep’s milk cheese won a bronze.

High Weald Dairy will be celebrating these achievements at their Christmas Cheese Fest on Saturday 15 December between 10am and 2pm at Tremains Farm, Treemans Road, Horsted Keynes, RH17 7EA, where there will be cheese to try and buy including cheese hampers and gifts for Christmas. All are welcome.
