The saucy member of cabin crew talks to Victoria Nangle about her worldwide acclaim and love of Brighton

You are always stunningly turned out. What is your beauty regime?
“Clinique toner which can also disarm a terrorist at 37,000ft by blinding them and exfoliating their skin at the same time.”

You’re a hit with many of the high flyers, including Elton John, Madonna and Cher. Who was your best behaved passenger, and why?
“Best behaved – how boring. I prefer passengers that aren’t well behaved like Alec Baldwin.”

You’ve sold out the Royal Albert Hall, The Hammersmith Apollo, as well as Sydney’s State Theatre and New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. What is your favourite kind of audience?
“One that is there to have a good time and have had a few cocktails but not too many cocktails, so a happy medium.”

Do you enjoy playing to a Brighton crowd?
“Brighton are a great crowd because there is a lot of crew in the audience to play with and Gatwick based crew so I can really remind them that they aren’t really international crew.”

You are very involved with British Airways, Qantas and Heathrow – what first caught your eye about the aeronautical industry?
“I love airline design, airlines have the best marketing campaigns and also architecturally I love airport terminals and of course the magic of flight.”

Who would win in a barb-off – you or Joan Rivers?
“Joan Rivers, but I’d give her a run for her money.”

Can you tell us anything about the Pam Ann movie currently rumoured to be in development?
“Let’s just say it’s going to be part The Hangover meets Borat in the air.”

If you were to travel long haul with six people from history, politics or entertainment, who would you choose as your travelling companions?
“Obama, Joan Rivers, Marilyn Monroe, Whitney Houston, Jay Z, Oscar Wilde.”
