Brighton Lights Episode 46: Fitness Special
In our funny, entertaining, snowy, winter wonderland look at 2013 Brighton, our very own Guy Lloyd, already quite trim, shows what it takes to become super trim, by being put through his paces by fittest girl in town, local personal trainer Emily Collins. Will he get fit in time for February? Will he lose his paunch? Why has he got such a round paunch? They’re like Morecambe and Wise and she’s wise!
Alex Turchyn is at snowy Brighton Marina and asks Emily for fitness tips for busy people. What can you do in your lunchtime to get fit? Alex also meets Brighton residents who do get on with their fitness regime despite the snowstorm. Are they mad or just mad for life?
Our sports reporter Jay Legate is convinced that running the Brighton marathon in April for charity for Rockinghorse will keep him focussed. He meets a man who ran 8 marathons in a row without even sleeping! Who is this Brighton superhero training Jay? It’s not Eddie Izzard but he is equally mad…..for life
The rest of the Brighton Lights team get fit to our special fitness theme tune: “Going up that hill, gonna pedal, pedal, pedal, going up that hill, gonna win the gold medal, going up that hill…”
Now I must prepare. So where is that sofa and the remote?
