Singalong Grease

Large gatherings of middle-aged women can be scary enough on their own. Throw in some wigs, Pink Ladies’ jackets and booze – then suddenly gang warfare doesn’t look that bad.

Singing and dancing along to your favourite film with your mates is always going to be a good idea. Charging customers £15 for the pleasure however is highly questionable. The fairly brief warm up section and a few ‘props’ (including a tissue and a brown paper bag) really doesn’t warrant the ticket fee. Restricted view seats made matters worse but I feel most sympathetic to the lady sat next to me who was expecting a full musical production!

A fun night out? Definitely. But my advice is that you can probably do it at home.
