TOWIE’s Jessica Wright, Fatboy Slim, Katie Price Vs Kelly Brook, & a chance to star in This Is Brighton

TOWIE role model?
Jessica Wright of TV’s The Only Way Is Essex is set to appear at a beauty contest for babies next month. Named the Teenie Mr and Miss contest, the pageant is looking for boys and girls aged from zero to 16 to sign up and get judged! Local mother, Anita Moss, enlisted the help of the professional, um, Essex-er as she deemed her a ‘good role model’, whom kids aspire to look like. What exactly Wright will add to the contest is yet to be seen, but no doubt she’ll look pretty in the background anyway.

This Is Brighton
It was about time Brighton gave the likes of TOWIE and Made In Chelsea some healthy competition for the UK’s best (un)reality show, and with This Is Brighton hitting YouTube last week they better up the stakes. The mockumentary is written and directed by talented Brighton duo Howard Kaye and Jamie O’Mara, and follows the daily runnings of ‘Air Promotions’ up to the launch of their much hyped OMG LOL club night. Featuring promo girls, a ginger DJ named Flame, a Bradford-born photographer and – our particular favourite – the dead-pan Air Promotions boss Tom.
Make sure you get down to the OMG LOL launch night at Audio on Tuesday 12 March to catch the This Is Brighton stars in all their glory, and appear in episode four yourself! Billed as ‘the biggest, hottest, sexiest, coolest, sickest night in the whole of East Sussex’, we can hardly resist.

Last Night a DJ Saved my Life
Brighton’s dance king, HRH Fatboy Slim, played the first ever DJ set at – politicos fave – the Terrace bar last week! Swapping house music for House of Commons music, Norman Cook played for the charity event held by Mike Weatherly MP and ‘Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation’. MP Mike Weatherley organised the show as part of his initiative using dance music artists to champion projects for young people.

Page 3 three-way feud
The Katie Price/Kelly Brook feud continues. It’s rumoured that Kelly is back with the girl’s mutual-ex, Danny Cipriani, which is presumably what has got the girls so riled up. After Jordan branded Kelly a ‘heffer’ in recent holiday pics, Brook hit back by likening the veteran page-3 girl to There’s Something About Mary’s less-than-flattering Magda on TV. Katie – never one to back down – then posted pictures of Kelly topless suggesting that her assets were less than pert, shall we say. But that wasn’t it. Oh no. Jodie Marsh has now waded in to defend Kelly making it a page 3 three-way feud. This can surely only get better?
