Light bites

Easy Recipeasy

I love to cook, I have cooked since I was a kid, baking and making savoury dishes that sometimes shocked and often surprised my parents. I have a certain amount of talent at the stove, but I’m never afraid to learn something new. So when I was invited to Recipease to learn how best to slow roast belly pork and to make perfect ravioli I was thrilled. I loved both courses, they were entertaining and sociable but at the same time properly educational. I went away confident in my pasta making skills and knowing how to get crisp crackling every time.

The cookery classes at Recipease are great value too, with all ingredients being supplied and generous hospitality to boot. There was something good too about meeting other food lovers of all abilities, all keen to hone their skills.

Right now you could even take advantage of their ‘Bring a Friend For Free’ offer, a real bargain and my favourite BOGOF to date. A Recipease class would also make a great birthday party, hen night or even a stag party. For those of you with children there are classes for 7-11 year olds too, pancakes, filled pasta and pizza classes to start with.

Just looking online at their most recent classes makes me eager to don my pinnie and race down to Western Road to find out more about Mexican street food or bread making and there is a very tempting South Indian Prawn curry that has my mouth watering as I type.
